Tonga's Assistant Coach Ofa Topeni says their players did everything asked of them yesterday but need to step it up against the hosts.

"Both backs and forwards - work hard on that. Fiji was really really good on ball skills - particularly the backs. We need to improve the backs' defence and everything on the backs' line-speed, line defence, the communication on defence - we have to work hard on this one".

The winning team will join Samoa in qualifying for next year's second tier Junior World Trophy tournament in Zimbabwe.
