Fiji's Acting Police Commissioner, Brigadier General Sitiveni Qiliho, says a so-called ID parade will be organised in Ba for a man who said he was severely beaten by police last month.

Rajneel Singh made the claim after he reported to police that he discovered a plot to kill all MPs on a computer in his Lautoka business.

Brigadier General Qiliho has told Auckland-based Radio Tarana that so far Mr Singh has not been able to identify any policeman who might have been involved.

After the assault, Mr Singh was in hospital under military guard.

Last week, Brigadier General Qiliho said police had the identities of those who were allegedly plotting to destabilise government.

It is not known if any of them have been arrested.

Last month, 16 people charged with sedition were granted bail.
