A court in Vanuatu has banned 15 convicted politicians from holding public office for ten years.

Fourteen of the men were imprisoned in October after being found guilty of corruption.
The 15th politician, caretaker finance minister Willie Jimmy, pleaded guilty and was handed a suspended sentence.
Vanuatu media report the Supreme Court this morning granted orders to invoke the Leadership Code Act.
The men are not to hold any public office covered by the Act for the next decade.
