Forty one people charged with sedition and urging political violence in Fiji have been further remanded in custody after a court hearing this morning.

They are among a group of 44 charged in relation to alleged para-military style training in hill country on the main island of Viti Levu.

The matter has been adjourned until Thursday for a ruling on bail for the twenty accused who had applied for bail.

Another 21 applied for bail today and that matter has been adjourned until the 23rd of December.

Two juveniles among the 44 accused are on bail and one person was earlier released on bail on medical grounds.
