Sport: American Samoa lose all All-Star football clash

The American Samoa senior All Star high school football team fell to Hawaii's Western All Stars 47-22 in the final game of the Junior Prep Sports Hawaii Classic in Honolulu.

The major standout was Cheyenne Sanitoa, who was responsible for an interception returned for a touchdown which kept American Samoa alive in the early part of the game.

However, turnovers proved to be costly for the territory, who struggled in the second half.

In their first game, Anerican Samoa defeated Northen California, 14-7.

The team of 43 high school seniors return home this evening.
