Preparations are being made in Wallis and Futuna for a visit of the French president, Francois Hollande, next month.
The public broadcaster says an official programme is yet to be released but plans are for the president to visit on February 22.
Weather permitting, he is expected to make a short side-trip from Wallis to Futuna.
It will be the second visit by a French president to the territory after Valery Giscard d'Estaing spent three hours there in 1979.
Mr Hollande is expected to travel via French Polynesia.
He has promised to visit all French overseas territories during his term in office.
