A former Tongan police officer is due in court today after being arrested as part of an ongoing investigation into forged passports.
The 63-year-old female was the 12th person to be arrested.
Kaniva Pacific reported police said more charges were likely as the investigation continued.
The arrests of both Tongan and Chinese nationals included government employees.
The Parliamentary Speaker also had his laptop confiscated but no charges were laid.
Earlier Prime Minister 'Akilisi Pohiva warned that senior officials and civil servants from former governments would be arrested and charged during the investigation.
