The American Samoa Governor Lolo Moliga has put to rest rumours that he and the Lieutenenant Governor Lemanu Peleti Mauga are not running on the same ticket in the November general elections.

At a cabinet meeting last week the governor said suggestions that he and Lemanu are running separately are not true.

He said they were a team and they would win or lose together.

Lolo and Lemanu are finishing their first term in office.

Before the cabinet meeting they said they had not met to discuss re-election plans.

No candidates had publicly announced their intention to run for the gubernatorial, congressional or House of Representative races.
