A strike by some staff of Air Tahiti is spreading and has prompted further flight cancellations in French Polynesia.
The airline says tomorrow's flights to the Gambier islands and one to Nuku Hiva in the Marquesas islands have been cancelled.
It says, however, that two of tomorrow's flights to four destinations in the Marquesas will be carried out by Air Archipels.
The stoppage, which began five days ago, was triggered over possible job losses in response to a sharp drop in domestic air travel.
The airline flies to 46 of French Polynesia's islands.
