The Royal Solomon Islands Police Force will be conducting a short memorial service in honour of its first Commissioner, John Holloway who died last week at his home in Australia.
John Holloway was appointed as the first Police Commissioner in July 1975 and served until 1982, when he passed on the task to the late Sir Fredrick Soaki.
The remembrance service will be conducted on Thursday morning after the Police Commissioner's parade at Rove.
