Pacific Oceania have beaten Turkmenistan to get their Davis Cup tennis campaign back on track.

Competing on clay at the Enghelab Sports Complex in Tehran, men's number one Heve Kelley of Tahiti defeated Yuriy Roguskiy 6-3 6-2.

Fiji's William O'Connell was outclassed by the same scoreline in the second singles rubber against Isa Mammetgulyyev before the doubles pairing of Brett Baudinet from Cook Islands and Guam's Daniel Llarenas combined to win 6-4 7-6 and clinch a crucial victory.

The result moves Pacific Oceania up to second in Asia/Oceania Group Three Pool A behind Iran, who beat them in the opening round.

They have another bye on Thursday before their final group match against Hong Kong.

Meanwhile Lebanon swept Singapore 3-0 to stay top of Pool B.
