Police in Tonga have called off the search for a German tourist who went missing on Christmas Day in Ha'apai.
The 46-year-old Frank Doblitz was last seen heading out for a swim at a beach in Hihifo.
Matangi Tonga reports Mr Doblitz and his Tongan wife Lina lived in Germany and had arrived in Tonga on the 13th of December to spend Christmas with her family.
He was reported missing by his brother-in-law after he failed to return home at nightfall.
