A tribunal is underway in Samoa this week investigating allegations of breach of conduct by the Director of the National Prosecution Office and her assistant.

The Attorney General was called on Monday to give evidence and face cross examination by the lawyer for the suspended director Mauga Precious Chang and her assistant Muriel Lui.

The three member Tribunal is chaired by a New Zealand lawyer, Sir Robert Grant Hammond.

A former Samoa Attorney General, Tuiloma Neroni Slade, and a representative of the Samoa Law Society, Alalatoa Rosella Papalii are also on the panel which is expected to sit for three days.
