PNG parliament to swear in new governor general

The Papua New Guinea Parliament will sit tomorrow for the swearing in of the new Governor-General, Bob Dadae.

Mr Dadae, who is the current MP for Kabwum in Morobe Province, was elected to the governor general's post last month.

The Post Courier said he would resign as an MP to take to up the new role.

Mr Dadae takes over from Sir Michael Ogio, who passed away earlier this month.
