Participants in Papua New Guinea's Practice Parliament for Women say having more female MPs would reduce government corruption.

The week long training programme organised by the United Nations concludes today with a mock question time and debate of a mock bill.
With only three women currently in Parliament out of 111 MPs, the intending candidate for Central Province, Rufina Peter, said more women in the House are needed to fight corruption.
"The issue of corruption or lack of service delivery, generally it's like, okay there's so much money coming we cannot see that translated into actual service delivery on the ground. Where is that money going? Where does it evaporate? A lot of people in the community are saying, let's get people who are honest."
She said with more women the PNG parliament would become more transparent and accountable.
