Last month was the best June on record for Guam tourism, according to the governor's office.

The office says nearly 123-thousand tourist arrivals broke records for June tourism.

The Pacific Daily News reports there was a 3.7-percent increase over the previous year.

The office says a number of large music events during June contributed to the increase.

Governor Eddie Calvo says the first half of the year broke many records, and he can't wait to see other milestones achieved over the next half of the year.
