An updated Tahitian-French dictionary has been published in French Polynesia, adding a further 2300 words.
This has been announced by the new president of the Tahitian academy Flora Aurima Devatine.
She told Radio1 in Tahiti that it was a colossal job to produce the new version.
The first Tahitian-French dictionary was created 18 years ago.
