Two rescue helicopters were sent to evacuate the body of a hiker who died on the Carstensz Pyramid in the Indonesian region of Papua on Tuesday.
The head of Timika Search and Rescue, Monce Brury, said one of the helicopters was used to take the body of the dead man, Ahmad Hadi, and the other to carry out the other members of his party.
The Tempo website reported Mr Hadi died of hypoxia which occurred while he was descending the Cartensz Pyramid, which is the highest mountain in Indonesia.
