Sport: Four players ruled out of Manu Samoa tour

Four players have been ruled out of Manu Samoa's Northern rugby tour through injury.

Veteran halfback Kahn Fotuali'i and France-based number nine Auvasa Faleali'i have withdrawn from the squad.

That's opened the door to a recall for New Zealand-based duo Pele Cowley and Dwayne Polataivao.

Leicester Tigers prop Logovii Mulipola has been replaced by Northland's Howard Sililoto, who's poised to make his test debut.

Meanwhile a replacement for Stade Francais front-rower Paul Alo-Emile has yet to be confirmed.

Samoa open their November tour against Scotland in Edinburgh next weekend, followed by tests against Romania in Bucharest and England in London.
