Vanuatu kava farmers being taught to run plant nurseries

The Vanuatu Department of Agriculture and Rural Development is running a workshop to teach kava farmers how to plant a kava nursery.

Vanuatu, as the biggest kava producer in the region, is focussing on promoting strictly noble kava.

The department's Antoine Ravo says the workshop, at the Tagabe Agriculture Training Centre, will also see the distribution of 10,000 polybags to ten kava associations around the country.
