Two students from Tuvalu have been granted university scholarships under the Tuvalu Coastal Adaptation Project.

The project focuses on building coastal resilience in three of Tuvalu's nine inhabited islands and is funded by the Green Climate Fund.
Investing in young people is among the country's environmental adaptation plans.
One of the students, 19 year old Tanu Sumeo, said she was interested in learning how to use geo-spatial technology but was still waiting to be offered a place at an Australian University.
Palaku Vaolilo Sakaio, 18, will study for a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering at New Zealand's Canterbury University.
The manager of the Funafuti based project, Moeo Finauga, says the two students were selected as their study goals matched the project's ideals.
"At the moment we only selected the civil engineering with some coastal background for one of the students to take and the other scholarship award is the Bachelor of Science in geospatial science."
Moeo Finauga said the students would be offered jobs on the project once they had completed their studies.
