Fiji military officers charged with rape

Four Fiji military officers have each been charged with sexual assault and rape, following an attack on a female officer in March.

The military's chief of staff, Jone Kalouniwai, said the men were still members of the military and would face a court martial when a judge was available.

Brigadier General Kalouniwai told the FBC violence against women and children would not be tolerated and those involved would be dealt with severely.
