The three were found guilty of disturbing the peace in West Honiara last week.

Police say they were playing the music system in their car very loudly, disturbing nearby residents.

The provincial police commander, chief superintendent Alfred Uiga, said the trio ignored pleas from the community to turn the music down, so that is when police stepped in and arrested them
