A Tongan noble is leading the charge for Tonga implement a number of anti-corruption measures by the end of the year.
Last week the Chair of the Standing Committee on Anti-Corruption Lord Fusitu'a submitted a number of recommendations to Parliament which were accepted.
He says an Anti-Corruption Commissioner will be appointed to head an investigative commission.
Lord Fusitu'a says Tonga will also move to ratify the UN Convention against Corruption and parliament is working on a National Leadership Code.
Lord Fusitu'a told Koro Vaka'uta when the work might be complete.
