The Papua New Guinea resident co-ordinator for the United Nations System says the agency wants to help raise further awareness about the peace process in Bougainville.

Roy Trivedy announced several projects to achieve this during the 15th anniversary celebrations of the signing of the Bougainville Peace Agreement. (30th August)

He says a critical factor is preparing the region for the referendum on possible independence from PNG, which is expected in June 2019.

Mr Trivedy told Don Wiseman about a mobile cinema the UN has given the Autonomous Bougainville Government.
