NZ discussions on lifting Pacific people out of poverty

New Zealand's Council for International Development hosted a panel discussion exploring the right combination of aid and trade to lift people out of poverty in developing nations, with a focus on the Pacific.

Economists, trade negotiators and NGO leaders recognised the combination of challenges the region faces including climate challenge, distance from markets and small populations.
