KORO VAKA'UTA: These allegations and accusations look like they could be quite damaging though.
AP: Oh I don't think so. We have gone through the accusations and also the Prime Minister's Office has made an effort to reply to all allegations and then the ministers all agreed the reply is well taken.
KV: Do you think that seeing finally why this motion was put forward, has that changed the ball game at all in terms of support and numbers?
AP: No. In fact the cabinet ministers had a meeting and the People's Representatives also took part in the meeting and I am very confident there will be no change. The majority will be on our side.
KV: And in terms of your response, I am not sure what you are able to say, but what is your response to these accusations?
AP: Well I feel that we didn't need to go into the details. We only provided general answers to the allegations and leave it there unless they ask questions after my reply is read out in parliament.
KV: But from your perspective, you're confident that you have behaved as a prime minister should, you have followed process and you are not guilty of these allegations or claims?
AP: Of course, yes. As I said earlier, we had gone through the allegations. Remember all the allegations have been raised in parliament just last year and also at the beginning of our session this year. They were already discussed in the House but they just formally put it on paper. That is the difference, but as I said, we, my office and also cabinet ministers were able to answer, to provide the answer to all these accusations.
KV: So you feel they have been answered in the past already and this is just a formality?
AP: Oh yes, okay, yes.
