Success of Solomons RAMSI mission still in the balance

The true success of the Pacific region's peacekeeping intervention to Solomon Islands is now being tested as the country charts its own course and aims to avoid the mistakes of the past.

The Regional Assistance Mission to Solomon Islands led by Australia and New Zealand departed the country in June having spent 14 years helping to restore law and order, and build up government institutions.

But reporter Koroi Hawkins, who travelled to Honiara for the mission's last week, found a country with a lot of unresolved issues.
