Kiribati encourages cancer screening

Kiribati health authorities say new research has revealed more needs to be done to teach people about cervical cancer as cultural barriers are preventing women from being screened.

The Kiribati Family Health Association and VSA interviewed 90 people in South Tarawa recently to find out how much they knew about the second most common cause of women's cancer.
