All remaining refugees removed from closed Manus detention camp

All remaining refugees at the decommissioned Manus Island detention camp in Papua New Guinea have been forcibly moved to nearby Lorengau.

The remaining several hundred refugees have been holding out at the Lombrum camps even though the government had turned off power and water supplies about three weeks ago.

But a large contingent of PNG police, immigration officials and PNG navy personnel have brutally forced the last refugees to move.

Don Wiseman reports.
