Amplifying Pacific concerns the aim at CIVICUS

From , 6:04 am on 6 December 2017

A huge gathering of civil society delegates from around the world in Fiji this week is seen as a great opportunity for the Pacific to inform the rest of the world about the region's concerns.

The global meeting, called CIVICUS, is being held just outside Suva, with about 800 attending.

The host is the Pacific umbrella group for local NGOs, PIANGO, and its executive director, Emele Duituturaga, has told Don Wiseman, it is a chance for them to network and to amplify the region's concerns.
