The leader of Fiji's main opposition party, Sitiveni Rabuka, has been charged by anti-corruption officials.

The Sodelpa leader and former prime minister appeared in court on Friday, where he was bailed until his next appearance on 6 June.

The charges relate to an alleged anomaly in Mr Rabuka's financial declarations for 2016 and 2017.

Mr Rabuka told Jamie Tahana he will defend himself.
