Hon. Fiame Naomi Mata'afa

A Samoan MP since 1975, Hon. Naomi Mata'afa was the country's first Cabinet Minister, serving as Minister of Education and Minister of Labour and now Minister of Justice. Her extended family awarded her the title Fiame, previously held by her father, Samoa's first Prime Minister. Fiame Naomi spoke to Ian Johnstone in 2011.
