Three talented and experienced broadcasters will step in for Kim Hill on Radio New Zealand National as she takes a three week break from her popular Saturday Morning programme.
Respected broadcaster, and former TVNZ CEO, Ian Fraser, takes the microphone this weekend, while former Nine to Noon host, Linda Clark, returns to the studio on Saturday 4 July. TVNZ Fair Go presenter, Gordon Harcourt, completes the impressive line up on Saturday 11 July.
Ian Fraser’s guests this Saturday will include entrepreneur Michael Hill, pick-up artist and survivalist Neil Strauss, and science writer Peter Macinnis on the history of the lawn!
Linda Clark’s guests will include British comedy kingpin Armando Iannucci, whose new film In the Loop features at this year's New Zealand Film Festival.
When Gordon Harcourt fronts the programme on 11 July, from Auckland, his guests will include Graeme Tuckett on the great, late New Zealand filmmaker Barry Barclay, novelist Emily Perkins, whose latest book is nominated for the 2009 Montana New Zealand Book Awards and Melinda Szymanik on grandmothers and werewolves. He will also look at the enduring appeal of Formula One racing.
Kim Hill returns to the programme on Saturday 18 July and her guests will include legendary science fiction and fantasy writer Ursula Le Guin.
