20 Years Out! marks the twentieth anniversary of the passage of the Homosexual Law Reform Bill in New Zealand. Using a rich combination of archival material and personal reflection, the documentary explores the passionate arguments for and against homosexual law reform.
The documentary has been split up into eight streaming audio segments which can be found in the index on the left hand side of each page.
Sincere thanks must go to the group of volunteers at the Lesbian and Gay Archives of New Zealand who have enabled this documentary to be made, and to the many individuals who recorded and kept the majority of this material before depositing it with LAGANZ. Thanks also to David Hindley for the use of his images.
20 Years Out! was produced by Gareth Watkins.
