Writing for Drama

Storytime - Children’s stories and book readings

Radio New Zealand Drama continues its long tradition of bringing children’s literature to life in its regular Storytime programme.

Storytime can be heard every Saturday and Sunday morning at 6 o’clock. A great way for the early risers to start their day!

Writers wanting to submit children’s stories

There is a very limited opportunity for new stories to be produced for this slot, so the competition is fierce.

At the present time our stories are produced only from published works or from targeted commissions.

This situation is constantly under review. Watch this space!
