Massive Attack

During Nine to Noon with Kathryn Ryan

Trip hop pioneers Massive Attack came from Bristol in the early 1990s and made their reputation with their debut album, Blue Lines, thanks to help from Neneh Cherry and vocal appearances from Shara Nelson, Horace Andy and Tricky. Their following albums, Protection (1994) and Mezzanine (1998) helped define the sound of that decade. Now, after a long break, they are back with a new album, Heligoland, and a tour.
