Country Life

Starts at 9:06 pm on Friday, 2 November 2012

During Nights with Bryan Crump

As they head to the top of Mount Parnassus, 84-year-old North Canterbury farmer Paul Bush tells Cosmo Kentish Barnes about his life on the land. Later on they catch up with son David and daughter-in-law Fiona who have taken over the day-to-day running of the 4000 hectare farm. They are busy tailing a flock of merino lambs so Paul gives a helping hand.

Also this week: Waikato University management students learn about the meaning of sustainability; and Jenny Roper from the Wairoa Museum, which is hosting a history of wool exhibition.
