Philippa Gregory c Johnny RingPhilippa Gregory is best known for her historical novels, including the international bestseller The Other Boleyn Girl. The historian and writer is credited with telling the tales of women who shaped British history that might have otherwise gone untold - from the six wives of King Henry VIII to female performers in an 18th-century circus. She talks to Lynn Freeman about her new novel The Kingmaker's Daughter, the fourth book in the Cousin's War series, which features the daughters of Richard Neville, Earl of Warwick: the most powerful magnate in fifteenth-century England.
