Anusha is a senior journalist at RNZ News after joining the Business team eight years ago. Retaining an interest in business, economic and political issues, she has most recently has led RNZ’s coverage of KiwiSaver investments in weapons companies as well as exposing inconsistencies in the investment policies of government and council-run funds.
Anusha has a Graduate Diploma in Journalism from Massey University and a BA in politics from Victoria University. She started her career in journalism as a cub reporter at the Horowhenua-Kapiti Chronicle. From there she cut her teeth in the world of business covering financial markets in London and got her first taste of broadcasting at Southland TV.
She lives with her husband and two children in Auckland where she enjoys pottering around her garden, travel and speaking Italian and Spanish rather badly.
