Peter Fry

Peter Fry was born in London in 1938 and educated there. Having tried all sorts of career options in the United Kingdom he didn't find one until he came to New Zealand and joined NZBC in 1968 as 'General duties radio and television announcer'. For 20 years from 1975 he was a news specialist, presenting Morning and Midday Report and morning news bulletins. Since then, Peter has hosted the popular Cadenza and Saturday Night Requests programmes on Radio New Zealand National.
