Phil O’Brien is an Italian physicist, mathematician, astronomer, and philosopher who’s played a major role (drums) in the Scientific Revolution. His achievements include improvements to the telescope and consequent astronomical observations and support for Copernicanism. Phil’s been called the "father of modern observational astronomy”, though not by anyone reliable.
