Simon Mercep
Radio New Zealand appointed seasoned broadcasting journalist, Simon Mercep, as co-presenter of New Zealand’s highest rating breakfast radio programme, Morning Report in 2010. Simon Mercep is well known to television viewers following his eight years as an investigative journalist on TVNZ’s consumer affairs show Fair Go. Prior to joining Morning Report, he worked with the highly rated current affairs programme Sunday.
Simon has been a journalist for nearly 30 years. He began his career with Radio New Zealand in 1983, and he has worked in radio and television for four different public service broadcasters in New Zealand, Australia, Canada and Britain.
