Mick Fleetwood is not only one of the tallest drummers in the world but also one of the longest serving drummers in the business. The co-founder of Fleetwood Mac was there from the beginning in 1967 when they were a four-piece blues band playing small clubs around the UK, before they became stadium-selling monsters.

The Mick Fleetwood Blues Band featuring Rick Vito is a celebration of Mick’s blues heritage. They still feature much of the repertoire dating back to the days when guitarist Peter Green was writing original material and peeling off some of the most endearing blues guitar solos committed to vinyl.

Trevor Reekie talks to Mick Fleetwood about Fleetwood Mac’s blues origins.
