2:10 Undersea Landslide

Evidence of a massive undersea landslide, that has dislodged a billion cubic metres of rock has been found less than 15 kilometres from Wellington airport. Using underwater scanning equipment, NIWA scientists have located a giant scar in the Nicholson Canyon, which lies in Cook Strait, south of Wellington Heads. The scar is all that's left from the giant slip, four times the size of Mt Victoria tunnel that scientists are now trying to date and assess for further risk and instability. NIWA ocean geologist Joshu Mountjoy.

2:20 Wreck of the Sydney

The wreckage of HMAS Sydney, sunk off the West Australian coast during World War II, has been found. It's a major breakthrough for the Australian government, which has invested more than $ 4 million in the search, and the Finding Sydney Foundation, which has conducted it out. The foundation's project manager is Patrick Flynn.
