3:33 Southern Story: Waihi Bush Organic Farm

The 15 hectares of bush with ancient trees and a magic pool in David Musgrave's 120 ha farm may be responsible for his serenity - or is it the flax-seed oil he produces? An agricultural degree and years as a research scientist have helped David succeed in his business, Functional Whole Foods, but his reasons for starting it were more personal – the products worked in healing his sons' allergies. Sage Forest meets David in the bush and takes a tour of the factory in Geraldine.

Flax peaks
Beautiful fields of flax at Waihi Bush (notice it's entirely different  to New Zealand's native harakeke).
