Well, it's traditional isn't it? Part of our Kiwi culture. But how would you feel if your seven-year-old headed out to the bush to hunt pigs with a pack of dogs and blokes? It's all in the spirit of fun and competition at the Upper Takaka Country Club Pig Hunt in Golden Bay, trying to win the Gruff Thomason trophy for largest tusks, or Ian Foskett trophy for largest boar.
