On March 11th, 2011 at 2:46pm, a magnitude 9 undersea earthquake happened off the coast of Japan, causing a devastating Tsunami that killed more than 15 thousand people. It released the same amount of energy as 8-thousand Hiroshima atom bombs.
Matt Duncan from the Gold Coast watched those terrible images and decided he wanted to do something about it. So he's designed an built a tsunami survival pod.
