2:10 - The Tsunami Survival Pod - Matt Duncan

On March 11th, 2011 at 2:46pm,  a magnitude 9 undersea earthquake happened off the coast of Japan, causing a devastating Tsunami that killed more than 15 thousand people. It released the same amount of energy as 8-thousand Hiroshima atom bombs.
Matt Duncan from the Gold Coast watched those terrible images and decided he wanted to do something about it. So he's designed an built a tsunami survival pod.

New Zealanders are getting first chance at buying a piece of World War Two aviation history. An unrestored Spitfire mark 16, considered the Rolls Royce of the sky, is up for sale and Omaka Aviation Heritage Centre trustee and aircraft broker, Graham Orphan wants New Zealanders to have the chance to buy it before anyone else.

Lisa Thompson meets up with some former "youthtowners" and discovered that friendship hasn't been the only thing to blossom on the basketball courts over the decades, but romance too!
