Money for jam, as the old saying goes, and for Tim and Kate Gibbs the old adage is their day-to-day reality.
Twenty years ago they left their corporate lives in Auckland for their greener pastures of Te Horo on the Kapiti Coast. There they set up a jam making business which has gone from strength to strength in the last few years.
The pair credits their success on two things: Making jam the old fashioned way and using 100 percent New Zealand fruit. And it's not just locals who are enjoying the jam.. Te Horo is now exporting to several countries and most recently sent pail loads of jam to China for the New Year Celebrations there..

The annual Holiday Park Awards have just been announced and one of the winners was a holiday park with a difference -our very own Jurassic Park. In fact, it might just be the only dinosaur themed holiday park in the country. And setting up this paleontologist playground has been a seven-year labour of love for Tracie Thornborough and her family.
