2:10  "Space weather" findings - Professor Craig Rodger.  An Otago researcher is part of an international team which has uncovered a previously undetected effect of "space weather" on the Antarctic. It's a finding which may explain variations in winter weather patterns which have previously puzzled experts. Professor Craig Rodger is from the Department of Physics at the University of Otago, and collaborated with the Finnish Meteorological Institute and the British Antarctic Survey.
